The relevance of the interdisciplinary conference is due to the annual increase in the number of patients with diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular and systemic diseases, and, as a result, a steady increase in the number of patients with chronic wounds and non-healing defects of soft tissues and bones due to the complicated course of traumatic illness or the presence of concomitant diseases. It is possible to develop a common strategic medical approach in such conditions only by combining the efforts of doctors of various specialties: purulent and reconstructive surgeons, orthopedic traumatologists, anesthesiologists, intensive care specialists, rheumatologists, oncologists, rehabilitologists, specialists with secondary medical education.
