Last Saturday, another training event for volunteers who recently joined the volunteer movement took place in Podolsk, Moscow Region. The main goal of the meeting was to familiarize newcomers with the specifics of work in the context of rehabilitation of wounded soldiers undergoing treatment in hospitals in Moscow and the Moscow Region.

Introductory briefing: the first steps of a volunteer

The curator of the volunteer movement conducted an introductory briefing, during which participants received basic information about the tasks and mission of volunteers. The main focus was on the importance of competent care for patients in hospitals and their support on the path to recovery. The curator emphasized that volunteer work requires not only skills, but also sincere care for patients, which is a key element of successful rehabilitation.

The event was attended by about two dozen participants, including volunteers from other regions, such as the Murmansk Region. This allowed the participants to exchange experiences and approaches to work, which is especially important for forming an effective team.

Features of patient care: prevention of bedsores

One of the key issues discussed at the meeting was the topic of prevention and treatment of bedsores in patients who are forced to remain in a supine position for a long time. Bedsores are one of the most serious problems for people who have received severe injuries and require special attention from medical personnel and volunteers.

To solve this problem, the participants were presented with modern products from Evers Group Rus, which help minimize the risk of bedsores and improve the condition of patients, namely preventive wipes and gel based on chitosan, EVERS LIFE PRO spray for the prevention of bedsores and other products. The curator explained in detail how to use these products correctly and what measures should be taken to prevent such complications.

Results of the event

The training event was an important step towards preparing new volunteers for their difficult mission. Participants received useful knowledge and practical recommendations that will help them in working with patients. The exchange of experience between volunteers from different regions helped to strengthen team spirit and establish cooperation within the movement.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that successful rehabilitation of patients is only possible with close cooperation between volunteers and medical personnel. Competent care, attentive attitude and compliance with doctors' recommendations play a key role in the recovery of fighters. Volunteers not only provide physical assistance to patients, but also support them morally, which is especially important for people who have experienced severe injuries.
