Dear colleagues, on May 24-25, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical conference with international participation "Pediatric surgery — yesterday, today, tomorrow" was held on the basis of the FSAU "NMIC of Children's Health".

The conference was held in a hybrid format and became one of the largest-scale events in Russia dedicated to pediatric surgery. In two days, about 100 events were held, including reports, discussions, broadcasts from the operating room, plenary sessions, and consideration of clinical cases. Pediatric surgeons, endoscopists, anesthesiologists, resuscitators, neurosurgeons, traumatologists, orthopedists, nephrologists, pediatricians, general practitioners are invited to participate in the Conference, and the scientific program has shown and proved the need for interdisciplinary interaction of specialists in all areas of pediatrics.

As part of the business program, Oksana Vladimirovna Vladimirova, a surgeon, Doctor of Medical Sciences, shared her experience of local treatment of burns in children and adults. The doctor told what modern medical means allow to cope with the problem of even very serious burns as efficiently as possible, conveniently and comfortably for the patient.
