The initiative was organized by the Association of Professional Participants in Hospice Care with the support of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Republican Clinical Hospital for War Veterans. This event was an important step in developing the competencies of specialists working in the field of palliative medical care.

Scale and Participation

About 80 specialists took part in the School, including doctors, nurses and other professionals providing palliative care. For two days, the participants were immersed in an intensive educational process, which included both theoretical lectures and practical classes. The format of the event allowed not only to deepen knowledge, but also to exchange experiences with colleagues.

Key topics and approaches

Special attention within the program was paid to the issues of prevention and treatment of bedsores, modern approaches to care for chronic wounds, as well as rules for careful handling of patients. Experts presented relevant methods of care aimed at improving the quality of life of seriously ill people.

The products of the Evers Group Rus company, which have already proven themselves in the practice of caring for patients, were considered separately. Participants were shown the effectiveness of using specialized napkins, lotions, gels for treatment of bedsores, as well as products for anorectal area care. These developments were highly praised by specialists for their practical benefits and relevance.

Results and Prospects

Educational events like the one held in Ufa play an important role in the development of the palliative care system, contributing to the improvement of the professional level of specialists. High level of organization, relevance of topics and the opportunity to exchange experiences between participants create conditions for the introduction of modern technologies and approaches into practice. Such initiatives not only improve the quality of patient care, but also contribute to the overall improvement of the level of medical care.

Joint efforts of professional communities, government agencies and medical organizations demonstrate effectiveness in developing the competencies of specialists. It is important to continue to support and expand educational programs to provide access to advanced knowledge and practical skills for more health workers.
