From April 23 to 25, the 65th All-Union Scientific Student Conference “Current Issues in Pediatric Surgery, Anesthesiology, and Resuscitation” was held in Omsk. The event was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding specialist V.P. Nemsadze and was organized with the participation of the country's leading specialized institutions.

  • Russian Association of Pediatric Surgeons;
  • Omsk State Medical University (OSMU);
  • Department of Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Reproductive Medicine;
  • NOMUS OmskSMU.

  • specialists from pediatric surgery departments of medical universities in Russia and the CIS.

Among the speakers was Irina Vladimirova, a future doctor from the Stavropol State Medical University.

The symposium program covered a wide range of current issues in pediatric surgery. Key topics included:

1. Surgical treatment and postoperative rehabilitation of children with anorectal malformations. Participants discussed modern surgical techniques, patient care during the postoperative period, and ways to reduce the risk of complications.

2. Wound management in pediatric surgery. A separate section was devoted to algorithms for selecting wound dressings and sharing experiences in managing complex wounds in children. Specialists presented clinical cases, analyzed typical mistakes, and discussed successful treatment strategies.
